CoENSTds Conducts Outreach Programme at OAV Bellaguntha, Inspiring Young Minds in Science

The Center of Excellence in Nano Science and Technology for Development of Sensors (CoENSTds), Department of Physics, Berhampur University, successfully conducted an Outreach Programme at Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya (OAV), Bellaguntha, on February 21, 2026, as part of its continued efforts to promote scientific awareness and inspire the next generation of innovators.

The  programme aimed to ignite curiosity among school students by introducing them to the fascinating world of nanoscience, sensor technology, and modern scientific research. Through interactive sessions, live demonstrations, and engaging discussions, students were exposed to how science and technology are shaping real-world solutions in healthcare, environment, and everyday life.

Faculty members and researchers from the Center interacted closely with the students, simplifying complex scientific concepts and encouraging them to think critically and creatively. The sessions were designed not only to inform but to inspire young learners to pursue careers in science and research.

The enthusiastic participation of students and faculty at OAV Bellaguntha made the programme highly impactful. The curiosity, questions, and active engagement from the students reflected a strong interest in scientific learning and innovation.

This outreach initiative was supported by the Odisha State Higher Education Council (OSHEC), Government of Odisha, and aligns with the Center’s mission to extend scientific knowledge beyond the laboratory and into society.
