1. genosensor for detection Bacillus anthracis
spores from water samples
This was a UGC funded project for
a duration of 02 years with a budget of 10 Lakhs. Dr. Sandip Dash, Dept. of
Zoology was the PI of this project.
2. Centre of Excellence in Nano Science and Technology for the
Development of Sensors This is funded
by OHEPEE Department of Higher Education for developing low-cost sensors for
health care, the environment, and food security. This project has a duration of
five years (2019/20-2024/25) and a funding of 300 lakhs. Prof. Sukanta K.
Tripathy, Dept. of Physics, is the PI of this project.
3. Development
of Experimental facility for fabsication and characterization of third
generation solar cell
This project was funded by DST
FIST, Govt. of India for the Development of Experimental facility for
fabsication and characterization of third generation solar cell. This project
has a duration of five years (2019-2023) with a grant of 80 Lakhs. Prof. Sukanta
K. Tripathy, Dept. of Physics is the PI of this project.
4. Raja Ramanna Fellowship (RRF)
This is sponsored by the
Departmentt of Atomic Energy (DAE), Govt. of India, to active retired
scientists, engineers, and technologists for their further contribution to
research. Prof. N. K. Sahoo, associate director (physics group) is the RRF at
the CoE, and also serving as the mentor of CoE.
5. Development of a chemical optode for the detection of Escherichia
coli O157:H7
This project is
funded by Dept. of Science and Technology, Odisha, for a duration of 03 years
with a budget grant of 7.88 Lakhs. Dr.
Sandip Dash, Dept. of Zoology is the PI of this project.
6. Biosynthesis and Characterization of Ag-MnO2 Nanoparticles
for Antimicrobial Application and Sulphonamide Conjugation for Ani-Parasitic
Property Development,
This is an OSHEC, Odisha funded
project for a duration of 02 years, with a budget grant of 4.92
Lakhs. Dr. Sandip Dash, Dept. of Zoology is the PI of this project.
7. Synthesis
of some carbohydrate functionalized thiourea and thiazolidinones and their
applications as analytical reagents for estimation of toxic metals and fluoride
ions in industrial effluent water
This project is
funded by DST SERB, Govt. of India, through the Teachers Associateship for Research Excellence (TARE)
fellowship program. Dr. Satyanarayan Sahoo, Dept. of Chemistry, is the PI of
this project and Prof. K. V. R. Chary, Director, IISER Berhampur is the mentor.
