CoENSTds Strengthens National Collaboration Through Visit to University of Hyderabad
The Center of Excellence in Nano Science and Technology for Development of Sensors (CoENSTds), Department of Physics, Berhampur University, continues to expand its collaborative research network through a recent academic visit led by Prof. Sukanta Kumar Tripathy along with his research team to the University of Hyderabad.
During this visit, the team engaged in meaningful scientific discussions with the Quantum Photonics research group led by Prof. Ramachandra Rao Yalla. The interaction focused on exploring collaborative research opportunities in advanced areas of quantum photonics, optical sensing, and next-generation device technologies. The exchange of ideas and expertise is expected to pave the way for joint research initiatives, publications, and potential technology development.
As part of the visit, the team also toured the Interdisciplinary Research Center (IRC) at the University of Hyderabad, where they interacted with Prof. Samrat L. Sabat. The visit provided valuable exposure to cutting-edge interdisciplinary research facilities and ongoing projects that integrate multiple domains of science and engineering.
The discussions emphasized the importance of combining strengths in nanoscience, photonics, and sensor development to address emerging scientific and societal challenges. Such institutional collaborations play a crucial role in enhancing research quality, fostering innovation, and creating opportunities for students and researchers.
Prof. Tripathy’s leadership continues to drive CoENSTds toward building strong academic partnerships across premier institutions in India. This visit marks another important step in that direction, reinforcing the Center’s commitment to collaborative, interdisciplinary, and impactful research.
The Center of Excellence looks forward to translating these interactions into long-term collaborations that contribute to advancements in quantum technologies and sensor development.
