CoENSTds Successfully Conducts 2nd Summer Internship Program 2025, Attracting Bright Minds from Across Odisha

 

The Center of Excellence in Nano Science and Technology for Development of Sensors (CoENSTds), Department of Physics, Berhampur University, successfully organized its 2nd Summer Internship Program from May 1 to May 30, 2025, marking another milestone in its commitment to academic excellence and research-driven learning.

The month-long program witnessed enthusiastic participation from around 30 students representing state universities across Odisha, premier institutions such as IIT Bhubaneswar, and several institutes from outside the state. The diverse academic backgrounds of the participants created a vibrant intellectual environment, encouraging collaboration, innovation, and the exchange of ideas.

Designed to provide immersive research exposure, the internship offered hands-on training in advanced areas of nanoscience, sensor technology, and emerging interdisciplinary fields. Participants had the opportunity to work closely with faculty members and research scholars, gaining practical experience with modern laboratory techniques and state-of-the-art instrumentation.

Beyond technical training, the program emphasized scientific thinking, problem-solving, and research ethics—equipping students with the skills necessary for future academic and technological pursuits. Interactive sessions, group discussions, and mentorship further enriched the learning experience, allowing interns to better understand real-world research challenges.

The successful completion of the second edition reflects the growing reputation of CoENSTds as a preferred destination for young researchers seeking meaningful laboratory exposure. The overwhelming response and active engagement of participants reaffirm the Center’s role in nurturing the next generation of scientists and innovators.
